I love Jesus, and apart from motherhood, creativity is my bread + butter. I'm married to a musician/English Teacher and we have two little boys who make me inexplicably happy and tired. I believe sunshine can cure almost any sorrow, travel is good for the soul, and the grass is much more enjoyable when barefoot. Apart from photography, I am a writer, a runner, and a volunteer.

a little more about me
The Fall after graduating high school I joined an internship at a film school where I fell in love with the camera. After completing my internship and planning my own dream wedding I began doing freelance photography. Two babies, a BA in Design+Advertising later, and I am falling back in love with the camera again. When I first began, it was a creative outlet, and little else. Now, whenever I book a shoot, I am excited because not only do I get to capture sweet moments, but I get to affirm and encourage my clients while doing it. I believe whole-heartedly that empowered women empower women. So, if I can affirm the beauty and worth of a graduating senior or a soon-to-be-bride through this gift of creativity, then I know I am doing exactly what I was made to do.
